7C’S OF LEADERSHIP: DO YOU HAVE ANY?

A leader is exceptinal, he sacrifices for all.

leadership the ability to lead. leadership is more of a practical skill that must be dominant. To lead a person or group of individuals (organisation) means you have an influence or can influence people or a group directly or indirectly.

Being a leader entails possessing some qualities and we will discuss some important qualities of a good leader or leadership. “7C’S OF LEADERSHIP” which if upheld can make you a better leader.

7C’S OF LEADERSHIP

A leader eximes his qualities each day.

A good leader posses the following qualities:

1. Capacity
2. Character
3. Competence
4. Courageous
5. Caring
6. Compasionate
7. Creativity

CAPACITY:

This entails being able to do things when necessary. Do things at the right time and do it right. capacity also means being able to understand things at various levels, whether on a high reasoning level, average and below average levels and produce results that are positive from the various interpretations.

CHARACTER:

leaders are known for a good character. It is atymes regarded as your reputation, leaders must not be remembered for a bad and abysmal attitude. You should be attractive.

COMPETENCE:

An good leader must be highly competent. You must be able to complete tasks successfully as mandated or required under given conditions. Effectiveness is the keyword.

COURAGEOUS:

As a leader you must not be the first to give up in situtaions, a good leader must desist from excessive complains. A leader is the engine even in difficult times. A leader encourages others too keep up when morale is down.

CARING:

A leader must look after his followers. A proper attention on the follwers will help a leader see when his follower(s) is dimoralised, hungry, sick, poor, lonely, in need, dieing, happy, and much more. Proper time given to the followers will give them sense of belonging.

COMPASIONATE:

A good leader must be emotionally active to be able to feel what his people feels. A good leader must not be hard hartened to aviod suffering the followers. You must strike balance on both feelings.

CREATIVITY:

A leader must always think outside the box. A leader is organised but not strictly stereotyped to aviod being boring. the saying of “THIS IS HOW WE ALWAYS DO IT” must not be your style. New things make increases joys and raises expectation.
