EDUCATION AS BARRIER

Education a process of imparting or learning a skill. It is really a priceless gift to mankind. Education started in Prussia 1800 to “produce more soldiers and more obedient citizens”. Horrace Mann  (education secretary Massachusetts, 1837) was invented the modern educational system.

From the definition of education , you observe the purpose of education is to produce obedient people/individuals that have molded to achieve a particular result. It therefore means the outcome of an individual undergoing education process is fixed.

Education process is a set ALGORITHM that interested individuals must follow. For example in Nigeria the ALGORITHM is 6-3-3-4. This implies six(6) years in primary school and three(3) in the junior and senior secondary school. Finally four(4) years in the tertiary institution.

In the USA the ALGORITHM is segmented into elementary school, middle school and high schools.

UNDERSTANDING THE MANAGEMENT OF EDUCATION

After undergoing this algorithm it now depends on what you make of it. You have been structured and molded to be obedient to laid down rules and laws.

It now implies and becomes necessary that you transform this law you have mastered to solutions that will annul problems in the society. The essence of education is to broaden the mind and toughen the brain in other to proffer solution to impending problems in the society.

This objective have been meet in a way as technology keeps evolving, these are fruits of the system, buts individuals have failed on their own to transform the learnt laws into VALUES.

THE PROBLEM; THE SYSTEM OR THE INDIVIDUAL

After school, the problem with the recipient is that the failure in applying these learnt laws and rules which they have carefully programmed to adhere to.

This has resulted to incessant pressure on existing firms or the government to establish institutions that will absorb recipient, where the work is routine and is based on defined rules. Its either this way or no other way for must recipient.

Educationalist love rules or protocols that makes them too principled, think of any professor you know for example. Its usually rear to see educationalist explore but if this happens they top the system or field they are in as they will repeatedly succeed with the found secret to what they do.
